Why Freefall Misfits exists
Life gets bigger when fear stops making the decisions.
We are Felecia and AJ. Skydiving brought us together, but the thing that kept pulling us back was bigger than the rush. It was the people, the progression, the ridiculous stories, and the feeling that life had cracked wide open.
Freefall Misfits is for anyone willing to be new at something, curious enough to take the long way home, and brave enough to go before every detail feels certain. You do not need to be the best in the room. You just need to show up, learn, and make room for the next person.
“Fear less” does not mean fear disappears. It means fear does not get the final vote.Meet the misfits
The Jump 26 movement
The license is not the finish line.
Twenty-five jumps can earn a skydiving license. Jump 26 is where the larger community gets to decide what happens next.
Every experienced jumper was once standing on the packing mat trying to remember what came next. Jump 26 is our promise to remember that person—to answer the question, invite the newer jumper, share what we know responsibly, and never confuse experience with permission to exclude.
This is not a certification or a shortcut around good judgment. It is a culture built on progression, humility, safety, and the belief that the sky gets better when more good people feel like they belong in it.
Make Jump 26 matter
Thailand / Scouting mission
We’re going first.
Before we ask anyone to follow us, we’re meeting the operators, testing the logistics, finding the experiences worth crossing the world for—and learning what should never make the itinerary.
Not a group tour. Not yet.

The jump lasts a minute. The story does not.
Social media gets the clean exit and the sunset landing. We want the rest of it too: the early call times, weather holds, wrong turns, lessons learned, local voices, terrible ideas that became great memories, and the people who changed the shape of the trip.
This is not a blog built to feed an algorithm. It is a permanent record of the places we go, what they teach us, and the stories worth carrying home.
