Meet the Misfits

Partners in life. Accomplices in adventure.

We’re Felecia and AJ: two people who keep asking where else we could go, what else we could learn, and who else we could bring along.

Freefall Misfits lives somewhere between our shared love of skydiving, our endless travel conversations, and our refusal to save every good idea for someday.

Felecia

Felecia is a skydiver, adventurer, professional overthinker, and enthusiastic supporter of ideas that probably sounded slightly more reasonable before someone said them out loud.

She believes life is too damn short to keep saying “maybe someday.”

Skydiving started as an adventure and became something much bigger—a sport that constantly challenges her, humbles her, introduces her to incredible people, and occasionally reminds her that gravity has absolutely no interest in how cool she thought the jump was going to look.

And honestly, that's part of why she loves it.

Felecia isn't interested in pretending every jump is perfect or every adventure goes according to plan. Sometimes you nail it. Sometimes you learn something. Sometimes you end up laughing with your friends about what the hell just happened.

All three make pretty good stories.

Outside the drop zone, she's just as likely to be paddleboarding somewhere with questionable wildlife nearby, hopping on a motorcycle, exploring somewhere she's never been, or booking a trip because “why not?” felt like a perfectly acceptable reason.

For Felecia, Fear Less. Live More. isn't about eliminating fear.

It's about refusing to let fear make the decisions.

It's saying yes before you've figured out every detail. Being willing to suck at something before you get good at it. Meeting people you never would've met otherwise. Going somewhere you've never been. And occasionally doing something that makes you stop afterward and think:

Holy shit. I actually did that.

That's what Freefall Misfits represents to her.

Not being the best skydiver.

Not being the most experienced adventurer.

Not trying to prove you're the coolest person in the room.

Just surrounding yourself with good humans, staying curious, pushing yourself a little further than yesterday, and collecting as many ridiculous, beautiful, unforgettable experiences as you can along the way.

Because someday isn't guaranteed.

So do the dope shit now.

Skydiver • Adventurer • Chaos Coordinator

AJ

AJ is a skydiver, adventurer, traveler, and firm believer that the best stories usually start somewhere just outside your comfort zone.

Freefall Misfits was born from a simple philosophy: Fear Less. Live More. Do Dope Shit.

For AJ, skydiving was never just about jumping out of airplanes. It was about the people you meet, the places the sport takes you, the confidence you build, and realizing that life gets a hell of a lot bigger when you stop letting fear make your decisions.

That mentality extends far beyond the drop zone.

Whether he's jumping from airplanes halfway around the world, chasing an adventure through a country he's never visited, or taking the long way home just because there are a few drop zones along the route, AJ believes life should be collected in experiences rather than watched from the sidelines.

But Freefall Misfits isn't about pretending to be fearless.

It's about being willing to go anyway.

It's about showing up inexperienced, asking questions, learning something new, occasionally looking ridiculous, and eventually becoming the person who helps the next newcomer do the same.

That belief became the foundation of Jump 26 — a movement built around remembering that every experienced skydiver was once standing at the drop zone with 25 jumps and absolutely no idea what came next. Experience should be something we share, not something we use to separate ourselves from others.

AJ believes there may be levels to doing dope shit—but we're all still doing dope shit.

Freefall Misfits is the extension of that philosophy beyond the airplane: bringing people together through skydiving, travel, ridiculous adventures, unfamiliar places, and experiences they'll still be talking about years later.

There will always be another country to explore, another airplane to jump out of, another skill to learn, another person to meet, and another story worth earning.

AJ isn't trying to build a brand around being the coolest person in the room.

He's building one around inviting more people into the room.

Or the airplane.

Preferably the airplane.

We jump.

We explore.

We bring people with us.
